“I’m Ready, Are You?” – The ODE Video Challenge. The Oregon Department of Education is holding a Video Challenge to highlight students’ dreams for the future and how school will help them get there. All Oregon public school students in 5th – 12th grades are eligible to enter either as individuals, in a student group, or as a class. This contest will run from November 15th – January 15th.
To be eligible to enter the “I’m Ready, Are You?” Video Challenge, you must be a) an Oregon public school student in grades 5 – 12 or b) and Oregon public school teacher working with students in grades 5-12 entering their class.
Create a short film (under 2 minutes) about these three things:
your dreams for the future,
your plans on how you are going to get there,
how your classes at school and the new Oregon Diploma Requirements will help you reach your dreams.
Finalist videos will be posted on our video site with 6 winners from around the state.
PRIZES INCLUDE: $250 and $750 in cash or a Smart Board for your class.
