OurStage is now accepting your video and film submissions for our April competition. Videos (15 minutes or less) are welcome in the following channels: Animation, Comedy, Cutting Edge, Action Sports, Music Videos, and Short films. If you’ve ached over it, OurStage wants it.
OurStage empowers our growing fan community to view and judge entries in a compelling, addictive way that cannot be gamed, skewed or rigged.
There are no geographic restrictions - this contest is open globally, though entries must be primarily in English.
OurStage wants your videos – the best wins $1,000.

Here’s how it works:
•Submit your work at www.OurStage.com/go/vidopp
•Let our film-savvy audience view and judge all submissions, selecting the 10 best per channel. Channel winners are decided via fans’ voting
•The entry with the most votes across all film/video channels wins one of two $1,000 Monthly Grand Prizes (the other is awarded to best song in the music category).
•Runners-up get festival appearances, cash prizes, swag and serious exposure from our growing list of partners (including Gen Art, Paste Magazine, Independent Film Festival of Boston, Slamdance, Film Threat, and SceneFirst).

OurStage offers the first truly democratic competition where everyone gets a fair crack, and the hardest working (talented) people in showbiz rise to the top.
Video file(s) and/or Music file(s) entered in the Contest must be no more than 15 minutes in length, and be submitted in one of the formats allowed on the Compete Upload page on the Web Site.
The winner is determined by judging all the way through the month.
The last week of every month is finals week:
There are 4 days of Quarter Finals, where the Top 20 in each channel are locked in and any judging is only for them. There’s 2 days of Semi-Finals, where the Top 10 in each channel are locked in and any judging is only for them. The last day of the month is Finals, where the #1′s in each channel battle it out for the $1,000.
