How do you travel on a budget? Make a video that’s two minutes or less that demonstrates how you live the budget-savvy life style while on a vacation or road trip!
How far can you go on a dollar? Show us the great ways you get the most value on a trip and have a fabulous experience. Your video must include some car travel and feature a Budget Rent A Car reference and logo prominently shown at some point in the video.
So get ready to film that road trip and show the world how to have fun and travel on a Budget! Upload your video between April 14, 2008 and June 13, 2008.
The video must show a vacation, road trip, or some other travel related event?
The Budget Rent A Car logo must be included at least one time.
The video must demonstrate clearly that the trip included a car.
Creativity: Is the idea shared innovative and creative?
* Is your entry original, creative, well organized, and imaginative in subject and presentation?
* Does your video show how living a Budget-savvy lifestyle positively impacts your travel life?
* Can viewers duplicate your experience and enjoy the same Budget-savvy experience in travel?
Entry must not contain or refer to any rental car company other than Sponsor.
The maximum file size for any single video file uploaded to flipforbudget.com is 100 MB Video file(s) and must be in one of the following file formats: .mpg; .mp4; .mov; .flv; .avi; .wmv
There are no published judging criteria – Grand Prize is winner will be chosen “at the sole discretion of the Judges. ”
There are 3 ways to win:
1) Every weekday between April 14, 2008 and June 13, 2008, Budget will reward a Flip Ultra Series video camera to the best video of the day. Five judges who are Budget employees and their affiliates will decide who deserves to win The Flip!
2) Digg your favorite video at digg.com and we’ll award $1,000 to the video that gets the most diggs at the end of the contest. Tell your friends to vote too!
3) At the end of the contest a grand prize of $25,000 will be awarded to the filmmaker who demonstrates the best ideas for a smart, fun, budget-savvy trip! The winner will be chosen from all approved entries – not just daily winners.
Open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older.
