The FliggeeBox Network is looking for talented story tellers of all genres who think they can entertain the masses in a 3 minute episode and then do it again, and then again, and so on… We know you are out there. Now we want you to prove to the world just how talented you are by participating in our contest.
Step 1: Pitch Series
March 15, 2008 – May 15, 2008
Create and pitch your series idea and from 1 -10 episodes that are each 3 minutes or less in length for that series. Series can be on any genre, situation comedy, romance,
reality show, animated series, graphic novel, etc.
Step 2: View and Vote
May 19, 2008 – June 15, 2008
15 finalists will be chosen. The finalists’ series and episodes will be available for Viewing and Voting by the public. Dont’ forget to invite your friends and family to vote for your series and episodes.
Step 3: Winners Annouced

$10,000 contest grand prize winner announced on June 30, 2008
Upload a minimum of one (1), and a maximum of ten (10) episodes (animated or video), each of which is three (3) minutes or shorter, and pitch your online series idea, including a treatment (description of the series) of two hundred fifty (250) to seven hundred fifty (750) words and a description of each episode, fifty (50) to one hundred (100) words
- The episodes must be in .avi, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg, .wmv, .flv, or .swf format;
- The episodes must not exceed 50 Mb in size each;
- The episodes must not exceed three (3) minutes in length each;
- The episodes, treatments, or descriptions cannot have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means.
Judges will select the top fifteen Finalists based on the following criteria:
- Originality (25%);
- Series Engagement (25%);
- Production Quality (25%); and
- Feasibility of Series (25%).
After public voting on the Finalists, we will re-judge the Finalists, taking into account the results of the View and Vote Phases, and will select the Contest Grand Prize winner from among the Finalists based on the following criteria:
- Public Appeal (20%);
- Originality (20%);
- Series Engagement (20%);
- Production Quality (20%); and
- Feasibility of Series (20%).
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
GRAND PRIZE: $10,000 cash and the opportunity to meet (via telephone or in person, at Sponsor’s sole discretion) with a Pixel Broadcasting executive to discuss the possibility of developing more episodes under contract. ARV: $10,000.
