Vidopp.com Video Contest Community

Upload a video (between 15 and 90 seconds) in one or more of the following four categories: (Laughs, Flaunt It, Did you See That?, Everything Else) describing: “What Would You Do For a Klondike Bar”.  The Entry must include or feature a positive reference to or visual of someone enjoying a Klondike product and must include the phrase “Klondike Bar”.  

The categories are to help keep things organized. You can approach it one of two ways. Either make a video and then see what category it fits into or pick a category and make a video for it.

LAUGHS

Laughs videos aren’t just funny, they’re side splitting, milk-shooting-out-of-your-nose hilarious. Jokes, pranks, impressions, sketches, and all around nutty behavior are all welcome in the Laughs category.

DID YOU SEE THAT

There is a very thin line between “Wow that’s cool” and “What an idiot”. Do you dare to cross it? Show off your most amazing stunts, feats and generally cool stuff here.

FLAUNT IT

So you think you can sing/dance/act/juggle? Prove it! The most impressive video displays of musical, theatrical or physical talent belong in the Flaunt It category

EVERYTHING ELSE

Not sure who you are, or what day it is? Somewhere in between super star and super cool? Everything that’s not everything else belongs here. 

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age and older as of date of entry.

There will be two voting segments for this Contest.

Voting Segment 1 (Semi-Finalist Voting): All Entries will be posted on the Contest Website for the public to vote on, using a scale of 1 – 5. The public vote for Voting Segment 1will determine 10% of the Entrant’s total score.

Voting Segment 2 (Finalist Voting): The four Finalists’ Entries (as determined by judging and by the public voting) will be posted on the Contest Website. The public voting for Voting Segment 2 will take place beginning 12:00:01 p.m. ET on 8/11/08, through 11:59:59 a.m. ET on 8/30/08. The public vote for Voting Segment 2 will determine 10% of the Finalist’s final score Semi-Finalist Judging.

All eligible Entries submitted will be judged on based on the following criteria:

• Originality and Creativity (30%’)
• Communication of “What Would You Do For a Klondike Bar” theme (30%)
• Overall Appeal (40%)

The public vote will determine 10% of Entrant’s score and Sponsor’s judging score will determine 90% of Entrant’s score. This overall score per Voting Period in Voting Segment 1 will determine one Semi-Finalist per category, for a total of four Semi-Finalists per Voting Period in Voting Segment 1. Finalist Judging: Semi-Finalist Entries will then be re-judged by the judges based on the same criteria listed above. Sponsor will then combine their judging score and the score from the public vote of Voting Segment 2 for each Finalist.

The public vote will determine 10% of Finalist’s final score and Sponsor’s judging score will determine 90% of Finalist’s final score.

Grand Prize : $100,000 awarded in the form a check and a 2-day/1-night trip for two to a Sponsor selected destination. Trip includes: round-trip coach-class air transportation from the major United States airport nearest to Grand Prize Winner’s home, round-trip ground transportation between airport and hotel, one night hotel accommodations and $500 spending money.
