The Futurefest Ideas Competition celebrates the talent and innovation of Wisconsin’s Technical Colleges. That means you (and/or your entire team) must be currently enrolled in one of the state’s 16 technical colleges to participate. Submission period ends on 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2009.
Students must repeat their name, followed by “…and I am a Futuremaker” at the end of the video.
Sixteen student and/or team semifinalists will be chosen, one from each of Wisconsin’s technical colleges. Entries will be judged on
- creativity
- quality of the idea
- originality of presentation
- effectiveness of communication
Semifinalists will compete for three grand prizes, to be presented at the Futurefest Ideas Competition awards celebration in April 2009.
