Did you know that the U.S is the number one trash-producing country in the world at about 1,609 pounds per person per year? This means that five percent of the world’s people generate 40 percent of the world’s waste. On top of that, about one-third of an average dump is made up of packaging material, including metal and plastic that can be recycled and reused!
At Ball, we see this as a big waste of energy and resources, not to mention an increasing strain on our planet. As a packaging producer, Ball works hard to help make sure as many of the cans and bottles we manufacture are recycled as possible. We don’t want these valuable resources to end up in the dump. You Can Help!

Of course all videos need to be “PG” so that we can use them in our efforts to promote recycling to the widest audience possible.
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the forty-eight contiguous United States who are at least eighteen years old at the time of entry. Submission period ends on February 15, 2009 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
