The MyStudio Gotham Comedy Challenge! Record and submit your stand-up comedy routine (four minutes or less).
The contest is open to legal citizens or permanent residents of the United States and Canada who are eligible to work in the United States or Canada. Submission period ends on at 11:59:59 EST January 31st, 2009.
Contestants will be judged on the basis of the video submitted, information provided on their entry form and any additional information made available to the judges by the Contestant, including:
- a. Adherence to the submission guidelines
- b. content of the video (i.e., articulation, poise and presentation on video)
- c. humor and entertainment value
- d. commercial potential
The Winner will receive an all expenses paid trip to New York City, a paid booking at Gotham Comedy Club on February 11th 2009 and an audition for Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham.
