Since this is a brand new concept and an emerging brand, there is a lot of room for “creative license.” We are looking for 30 to 90 second video clips emphasizing individual and group achievements and accomplishments that are considered “props worthy.”

However, because the videos will appear exclusively on the giveprops.com site, they do not have to conform to any particular time length. The videos can be humorous or serious, but should be G rated. They can be animated or live action, or a mix.

“Props” is short for proper respect. Giveprops.com provides a simple way for people to recognize and reward a friend, family member, coworker, or employee’s achievements and accomplishments. Give props.com offers a unique and exciting customer experience for both the “props giver” and the “props recipient.”

Giveprops.com is a new social expression website. Most social expression websites feature animated “e-cards,” while Giveprops.com features unique and entertaining “video props”. The word “props” is a colloquial expression meaning proper/due respect, or proper recognition. So to “Give Props” means to express your respect for what someone has done. Giveprops.com features “video props” rather than the more traditional animated e-card.

Senders are encouraged to attach an Amazon online gift card to further acknowledge and reward the recipient. Giveprops.com is an exciting new distribution channel for crowd sourced video content.

Objective for this assignment:

The United States military is an all volunteer force.  Serving one’s country by serving in the military should be acknowledged, appreciated and applauded.  Giving Props is a sign of respect.  Giving Props should not only recognize military service, but actually motivate and inspire the recipient.  The videos need to appeal to both the purchaser, who will likely be a parent, and to the military personnel who will be receiving them.

All “video props” are 100% positive; never critical or negative.  A portion of all video sales will be donated to the USO.
