This contest is completely wide open. Anyone with a hilarious or highly creative idea can submit their videos. Are you an amateur comedian trying to make a name for yourself? Are you experienced comedian that is just looking for some easy money? Are you just a normal person wanting your 15 minutes of fame? There is no maximum number of entries so feel free to submit as many as you like if you have more than one idea.
If we use more than one of your submissions, you will be given $1000 for each video we use. Ok, we would like to air our first commercial on Feb. 1st, 2010 so we would like to pick our first winner within 30-60 days before that so we are making the deadline for the first commerical December 31 , 2009.
However, keep in mind that this will be an ongoing contest as we plan on making more than one commercial. We plan to use any and all submissions that we deem funny or creative enough to go viral. On the contrary, if we do not receive any submissions that we deem funny enough touse as our commercial, we will prolong making a choice until a clear winner is found.
Well in case we have not been crystal clear or you have missed every other page on the website, the prize is $1500 and you (and your name!) get to appear in our nationwide television commercial.
What format is accepted?
I have two old VHS Cameras that I can use to create a two angle video skit. Would you need these converted to DVD, or in an online video format?
I have several ideas jicking around in my brain pan, but I am not a videographer, though I can make that a skit.
