If you can answer yes to any of these questions, this contest is for you:
- Are you a VMware customer or enthusiast and a firm believer in using virtualization?
- Do you currently run business-critical applications using VMware technology?
- Are you considering running your business-critical application on VMware vSphere?
- Do you think every organization should use VMware vSphere to deliver business-critical applications as dynamic, cost-effective, reliable IT services on internal clouds?
To participate in the Run It with VMware Video Contest, you must be at least 18 years old. Contestants may submit as many entries as they wish, but may only win one prize. All entries must be received by VMware, Inc. no later than July 20th, 2009 at 11:59 PM PST.
VMware will determine the top thirty (30) videos based on the most number of views as reflected on www.youtube.com on or about July 30th, 2009. VMware judges will grade the top thirty (30) entries using the following criteria:
- Demonstrates value of running business critical applications on VMware (35%)
- Creativity (35%)
- Quality of video including editing and sound quality (30%)
One – $5,000 Grand Prize award for the Run It with VMware video entry will be awarded for the top selection of the judges based on the judging criteria referenced below.
Four – $1,000 Second Prize awards for the Run It with VMware video entry, will be awarded for the top selection of the judges based on the judging criteria referenced above.
