So what are taxes all about? How does financial aid work? Use your skills to create a 3-5 minute video for Maryland youth about these issues and get a cash prize while you’re at it too.

You must be 18 by the first round deadline, which is July 1, 2009.  For individuals and main contact persons of groups, they must either live, work, or attend school in Maryland. Deadline for the treatment form is JULY 1, 2009. 

Make a video about any one of the following categories:

1. Where Did My Paycheck Go? 
2. A Degree in Debt? 
3. That Little 6% 

By August 1, 2009 ten treatments finalists will be notified in the mail and a complete list of selected applicants will be featured on this website.  Treatment finalists will be required to produce their selected treatment by the November 2, 2009 deadline. Treatment finalists will participate in 3 phone calls to present status reports during the production period. Winners will be selected per category by December 1, 2009 and will be notified by mail. Finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges.
