Cast It Systems last year was involved in casting about 250 movies, more than 100 television pilots and nearly 400 television episodes. The service lets the list builders upload a digitally recorded audition, match it with a résumé and other addenda and add a critique (“not her best,” “he’s a favor to the producer”). Then they can share the results through access to a password-protected site, very privately and instantly, with interested parties.
