Contest is open only to persons who, as of date of entry, are legal residents of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, are at least 18 years or older, who own, or have access to, a video capable mobile phone, and who are registered users of Youtube.com. Submission period closes on August 10th, at 2:59:59 PM ET.
The Weekly Competition will result in twenty-five Weekly Prize(s) each week chosen from among all of the eligible “Video Submission(s)” that are submitted during the weekly Open Call For Entries. Out of the 25 Weekly Prize Winner(s), one Weekly Prize Winner will be chosen to win the First Place Weekly Prize .The Grand Prize Competition will result in the award of one Grand Prize. The winner of the Grand Prize will be selected from the eligible First Place Weekly Prize Winners during the Sponsor Judging To Select Grand Prize Winner event.
The Panel will score each Eligible Video Submission based on the following judging criteria, each given equal weight:
- How original/creative is the submission?
- How well does the submission capture Summer spontaneity?
- How entertaining is the submission?
- What is the overall impression of the submission?
Prizes: The following prizes will be available:
Grand Prize (1): a check for $5,000.
First Place Weekly Prize: a check for $1,000.
Weekly Prizes (25): each of the 25 Weekly Prize packages includes one 16GB SanDisk microSD™ Memory Card, one MobileMate™ Micro reader and one Contest T-Shirt. Total of 125 Weekly Prizes for the duration of the Contest.
