Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia who are 17 years of age or older as of Date of entry. Eligible entrants who are under the legal age of majority in their state must get their parent or legal guardian’s permission to participate in the Contest. Submission period ends at 11:59 PM [CDT] on August 8, 2009.
At the conclusion of the Entry Phase, twelve (12) Finalist’s Films will be selected from among all eligible Films received. The Finalists will be selected based on the following judging criteria:
- Adherence to the Contest Theme (0-30)
- Originality & Creativity (0-30 points)
- Entertainment Value (0-30 points)
- Quality of Video Production (0-10 points)
During the Judging Phase, the twelve Finalist’s Films will be featured on the Website. Registered members of the Website will be invited to vote on their favorite Film and at the end of the Judging Phase, the Grand Prize and First Prize winners will be determined based on the total number of votes received for each Finalist Film.
