It’s simple! Submit a short video showing us your favorite automotive project and tell us why you should named Motors Master – and you could be on your way to the hot Las Vegas sun.
eBay 2009 Motors Master Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who are: physically located and reside in the United States, District of Columbia, or Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec); 18 years of age or older for U.S. residents and of the age of majority in their province or territory of residence for Canadian residents; and confirmed, registered members of www.ebay.com or www.ebay.ca at time of entry. Submission period ends 11:59:59 PM PT on August 31, 2009.
Complete and submit the Contest entry form by providing the information required and select the Category for which the video is being submitted:
- 1) Muscle Cars
- 2) Tuners
- 3) Off-Road
- 4) Motorcycles
During the Voting Period, all eligible entries (including Videos and Descriptions) will be judged by a panel of expert judges based on the following criteria:
- Originality of Modifications – 25%
- Clarity of Expression – 25%
- Passion for using eBay Motors – 25%
- Appropriateness to Contest Theme described in Section 4 Above – 25%.
In addition, all eligible entries will be posted on the eBay Motors Master Gallery Page where confirmed registered members of www.ebay.com (including Entrants) will be encouraged to rate each submission on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the most favorable and 1 being the least favorable) during the Voting Period. During this Phase, a final score will be determined for each eligible entry received based on the judges, score, which will count for 80%, and the consumers, tallied ratings, which will count for 20%, of the final score.
Up to a maximum of ten top-scoring entries in each Category will be declared finalists.
Ten Finalists per category for a total of forty (40) Finalists will be determined on or about September 15, 2009. During this Period, the forty Finalists, entries (including Video & Description) will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges based on the following criteria:
- Originality of Modifications – 25%
- Clarity of Expression – 25%
- Passion for using eBay Motors – 25%
- Appropriateness to Contest Theme described in Section 4 Above – 25%.
The top scoring entry in each Category will be declared a Grand Prize winner, and given the title 2009 Motors Master.
Grand Prize (4, one per category) includes the following:
- a) $2,500 deposited into the winner’s PayPal account;
- b) A 4-day, 3-night trip for the winner to the 2009 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV (November 4th – 7th, 2009), including round-trip air transportation from a major airport nearest to winner’s home, hotel occupancy for 3 nights, tickets to the 2009 SEMA Show and tickets to a behind the scenes event/party; and
- c) Winner will be designated as the eBay Motors “Motors Master” to star in the first Vuvox DIY eBay Motors Installation Video.
