Go to Milkqarious.com and watch Battle for Milkaquarious, White Gold’s new rock opera. While you’re there download scene specific packs that include music, scripts, forms, and everything you’ll need to enter the contest.
To be eligible to ener and win you must be a current Californai Public High school teacher or a California or a California high school student between the ages of 14 and 18. You must also have your parent/teacher permission forms signed and returned to us when you enter.
Submission period ends at 10:00:00 a.m. PT on December 20, 2009.
FIRST ROUND OF CONTEST VOTING (Occurs during the Contest Submission Period and will determine one [1] of the ten [10] Finalists): During the Contest Submission Period Visitors to the Web site will be able to register and vote for the Submission they like the best. The top Submission, with the highest number of online votes, will be determined at the conclusion of the Contest Submission Period. He/she will be named a Finalist and will advance to the Second Round of Contest Voting.
During the Contest Judging Period, Submissions (excluding the one [1] Submission already identified as a Finalist from the First Round of Contest Voting) will be judged by an independent judging agency, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Submissions will be judged on the following criteria:
- (a) 60% Originality and vision;
- (b) 10% Capturing the pure White Gold spirit;
- (c) 20% Adherence to Sponsor’s original scene
- (d) 10% Depiction of healthy hair, strong muscles and beautiful teeth.
Nine Finalist Submissions will be determined by the highest cumulative scores for all criteria awarded by the judges, on or about January 10, 2010, from all eligible Submissions received.
Finalists’ Submissions will be posted on the Web site. During the Contest Voting Period, visitors to the Web site will be able to register and vote for the Finalist Submission they like best. he top Finalist, determined by the Submission with the highest number of online votes, will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner, and so forth.
- Grand Prize: $20,000.00 to be awarded in the form of a check or wire transfer, payable to Designated School to be used by the school for their Arts program.
- Runner Up: $10,000.00 to be awarded in the form of a check or wire transfer, payable to Designated School to be used by the school for their Arts program.
- Honorable Mentions: $2,500.00 to be awarded in the form of a check or wire transfer, payable to Designated School to be used by the school for their Arts program.
