Parents, send in a video of your child (age 4-17) making his or her favorite original recipe using our sponsor’s products OR send us a photo of your child with the finished recipe. You must include the recipe along with your video/photo submission.
Videos should be between 3 and 10 minutes in length. Recipes must use one or more Wholesome Sweeteners, Neislen-Massey Vanillas, Endangered Species Chocolates or Annie Chuns product as an ingredient.
Contest open to individuals 18 years of age or older as of date of entry and who are legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia.
Submission period ends at 11:59:59 pm (ET) on May 31, 2010.
The judging of the KIWI Magazine America’s Next Great Chef Contest will be conducted by a panel of judges comprised of representatives of KIWI Magazine and professional recipe developers and/or chefs. Contest submissions with videos will be judged based on a 10 point scale for the following criteria:
- 2 points recipe originality
- 2 points recipe taste
- 2 points on-air personality of the child featured in the video
- 1 point for use of a Wholesome Sweeteners product
- 1 point for use of a Neislen-Massey Vanillas product
- 1 point for use of a Endangered Species chocolate product and 1 point for use of a Annie Chuns product
Three submissions that contain a video receiving the highest scores will be declared the winners.
Prizes
One Grand Prize: $2,500.00 and a feature in an issue of Kiwi magazine
One First Prize: $1,500.00 and a feature in an issue of Kiwi magazine
One Second Prize $500.00 and a feature in an issue of Kiwi magazine
One Honorable Mention Prize: $250.00.
