It’s true. Three months. All-expenses paid. A spectacular winter in Colorado, where the snow is legendary, and the fun is round-the-clock. Skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, hot-tubbing, night-clubbing, snow-filled days and starry nights.
And it can all be yours if you’re voted as one of three winners who’ll fall in love with Snow at First Sight.
Shoot Your Video
Shoot your 60-second video on your phone. Shoot it on your video camera. Shoot it on a million dollar film camera. We don’t care. We only care that it rocks. And you want your peers to care. Because after you make your video showing us just how much you want to fall in love with Snow at First Sight, you’ll come back here and post it. And if it gets enough votes, you guessed it … you’re heading for an incredible adventure in Colorado.
To enter, you must: (a) be 21 years of age or older; (b) be a legal U.S. resident or an individual capable of obtaining legal authorization to be in the U.S. from December 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010; (c) have never been in significant snow conditions as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; (d) be able to travel to Colorado in December 2009 for an audition; (e) be able to reside in Colorado for a three-month period from January to March of 2010.
Submission period ends December 4, 2009 at 11:59 p.m.
Here’s the quick skinny: You’ve got to be able to say, “I don’t know snow”. You’ve never seen it, played in it, skied it, ridden it, sledded it, touched it, or tasted it.
And you’ve got to be able to pack up and head to Colorado for three months. That’s 90 days, in which you’ll have experiences that will last you 90 years. You’ll fall in love with snow. And you’ll fall in love with Colorado.
Public Voting (Five Semi-Finalists). Each Entry will be posted on www.SnowatFirstSight.com and visitors to such website will be allowed to vote for their favorite using the voting mechanism on the site. The top five Entries will be selected as Semi-Finalists to advance to the Final Round based on the total number of valid votes received by the site, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the requirements of these Official Rules.
Panel Voting (Five Finalists). A panel of judges designated by Sponsor will review the entries and select, in their sole discretion, five additional Semi-Finalists to advance to the Final Round.
Final Round (Audition). The ten Semi-Finalists will be announced on www.SnowatFirstSight.com on or about November 29, 2009. After the Semi-Finalists are announced, the Semi-Finalists will be flown to Colorado to audition before a panel of judges selected by Sponsor. The audition will be held in the first week of January 2010 and will consist of an interview with the panel and participation in other events and activities about which each Semi-Finalist will be asked to demonstrate his or her communication and other skills by submitting sample blog, videos and other postings about the events and activities.
10 Semi-Finalists receive a trip to Colorado for an audition.
One grand prize winner will receive a 90-day, all expenses paid trip to Colorado between January and March of 2010.
