Do you want a story that will rival Uncle Jim’s? How about a 7-Day Heli-Assisted Ski Tour at the Adamant Lodge with Greg Hill, compliments of CMH Heli-Skiing and gear from ARC’TERYX? Think that would do it?
Then we challenge you to create a video (no longer than 2 minutes, please) and tell us What Inspires You to Ski Tour. What makes these mountain places so special for you?
Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada and the United States (excluding Quebec, and in the United States; Arizona, Louisiana,
Maryland, Montana, Vermont, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, New York and Florida.) Entrants must be 18 years or older at time of entry.
Entries must be received by 11:59:59 pm (MST), February 15th, 2010.
All eligible Videos will be judged on or before February 28th, 2010 by a panel of three judges including a member of CMH Heli-Skiing, a member of ARC’TERYX, and an industry member based on the following criteria:
a) content portraying “What Inspires You to Ski Tour
b) creativity
c) originality and impact
The Video with the top overall score will be determined the “What Inspires You to Ski Tour” Video Contest winner.
Prize will consist of:
One trip for two people on a 7 day Heli-Assisted Ski Touring Trip which includes: roundtrip coach airfare to/from Calgary Alberta from the closest major airport to the winner’s city of residence. Total allowance for flights is $2000.00 CDN for two return flights. 2 nights’ accommodation at the Delta Calgary Airport Hotel, fully escorted transportation between Calgary and CMH Adamants Lodge, 7 nights lodge accommodation, all meals, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages at the lodge, ACMG and/or IFMGA certified guides for 7 days of ski touring, training in and use of avalanche transceivers.
Two complete ARC’TERYX clothing outfits for ski touring including: 2 sets of next to skin underwear(top and bottom), 2 sets of soft-shell jackets, 2 sets of Hard-shell jackets and pants, 2 ski touring backpacks,
and 2 wool toques.
