Small changes in your local community can make a big difference in our world.
Your “climate” is not only the air you breathe but also the people, places, and relationships that affect your daily life.
Tell us in a video no longer than 2 minutes what you or someone you know is doing to make your community a better place, and in the process contributing to a healthier, safer, cleaner, and more peaceful world for all of us and you could win an all-expense-paid international exchange program!
The contest is open to individuals from all countries and territories worldwide. Contestants must be registered members of ExchangesConnect (http://connect.state.gov) and 14 years or older at the time of submission.
The contest opens on November 17, 2009 and closes on January 12, 2010.
Round 1:
The 40 top-rated Entries as determined by the ExchangesConnect community will be reviewed and ranked by a panel of expert judges. The criteria for judging are:
Originality
Creativity
Effectiveness
Production Quality
The Contest Sponsor will select one (1) winner in each category, for a total of four (4) winners taking into consideration the judge’s rankings. Up to five honorable mentions will be selected. The decision will be based on the following criteria:
Rating by the ExchangesConnect Community

The four winners will receive the grand prize: an all-expense-paid, approximately two-week cultural exchange program to the United States (for the non-U.S. winners) or from the United States to a country to be determined (for the U.S. winners).
