D’Addario, Planet Waves, Evans & The Roxy are on the hunt for hot, new, upcoming bands to “Rock The Roxy”! Groups can simply post their music video to YouTube and watch the view-counter roll! Videos must be less than three minutes long and submitted as a video response. As long as the video shows the band rockin’ out at some point (electronic-based instruments are also allowed), videos can definitely get creative and feature fancy film work.
Open to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age and older as of date of Entry.
Submission period ends at 3:00:00p.m. ET on February 9, 2010.
Public viewing will take place from 11:00a.m. ET on December 11, 2009 through 3:00p.m. ET on February 9, 2010.
All eligible Entries will be judged on or about February 12, 2010, under the supervision of an independent judging organization, based on the following criteria:
Song (30%)
Musicianship (25%)
Stage presence/performance (45%)
Sponsor will then combine the judging scores and the number of Views each entrant received from the public. The public Views will determine 10% of Entrant’s score and Sponsor’s judging score will determine 90% of Entrant’s score. These overall scores will determine 1 Grand Prize and 50 First Prize winners.
GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE:
A Zildjian Cymbals prize package (retail value up to $500)
Ibanez guitar prize package (retail value up to $500)
Tama drums prize package (retail value up to $500)
Limited edition a limited edition mahogany AC30H2L and new
