The primary goal of The Reason Project is to spread scientific thinking and secular values. We invite you to help us further our work by submitting a short video that conveys the message of the foundation.
Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, the United Kingdom, and Canada, who are over the age of majority in his/her jurisdiction and who have internet access.
All Entries must be received by February 28, 2010 at 12:00 AM PST to be considered eligible.
All eligible Entries received by Sponsor during the Contest Period will be judged to select ten finalists by a panel of qualified judges based on the following criteria (weighed equally):
Expressing the message of The Reason Project
Creativity
Production quality
Level of entertainment
Finalists’ Entries will be featured at www.reasonproject.org between 12 AM PST on March 15, 2010 and 12 AM PST on March 21, 2010. The Finalist that receives the highest number of valid votes, as determined by Sponsor, will be deemed the “Grand Prize winner” and so forth.
The prize for the Winning Video of 2010 will be $10,000.
The prize for Second Place will be $4,000.
The prize for Third Place will be $1,000.
