As we move into the new year, it’s time to think again about taxes!
Well, we know that taxes are not everyone’s favorite subject. Fortunately, we have an assignment that could earn you some money and also help you help others by telling the story of America’s number one tax preparation software – TurboTax.
TurboTax is looking for one simple but compelling 30 second video commercial. They want an ad that will cut through the clutter, driving awareness of www.FriendsLikeYou.com (note: this site is not yet live, however screenshots can be found in the creative brief) and getting users to engage in the Friendalyzer to see which of their friends or people like them use TurboTax. They want them to consider that if people they know or people in similar situations like them use TurboTax, then they should as well.
TurboTax will pay $4,000 for any video selected. And we guarantee at least one will be selected. Plus we’ll be paying out $2,000 more in editors’ choice awards to our three favorites. So there will be at least four creators with lots of good news to share during tax season.
Contest is open to anyone 18 years of age or older.
Ads must be received no later than midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 31st 2010.
