Comedian David Angelo is giving away $500 to anyone who can deliver his jokes the best. Here are the details in his own words:
I have a million jokes, many of which I simply cannot pull off in a live performance. But I still think they contain “funny.” As a learning experience for me (and an excuse for you to do something stupid and win money), I want you to follow these steps:
1) Record yourself delivering one of my gigglemakers (click ‘Visit Contest’ to see the jokes).
2) Post it on youtube with the words “Codename Joke” in the title of the video.
3) Email submit@codenamejoke.com with the link to your youtube video by 11:59pm ET May 31st, 2010. Include your name, phone number, and home address.
4) Once the confirmation email arrives, follow the link inside to accept the terms and conditions of the contest. You must accept these terms to complete your submission!
Limit of three entries per person.
Participants must be over 18 years old, live within the United States, be unrelated to David Angelo, and not be active in any terrorist organization.
Submission period 11:59pm ET May 31st, 2010.
In June 2010, CodeName: Joke’s industry committee will select up to ten finalist entries which will be presented to the public to vote on and to determine the Grand Prize winner. The finalists will be posted on www.codenamejoke.com prior to July 2010. The voting period will be announced with the finalists. At the close of the voting period, the submissions that receives the most votes will be deemed the Grand Prize winner.
One Grand Prize Winner who will receive FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS in cash.
