Andrea Ball, Staff Editor
Andrea received her Associates Degree in Arts from Mt. San Antonio College, then left to study abroad for a year in France. Once Andrea returned she began her in depth film studies at Cal State University Northridge in the film production option.
In her final year, she was awarded a chance to direct her senior project, Beats Per Minute. All along Andrea had been training and competing in ‘Popping’ battles, which is where she discovered the undeniably talented Salah. Her film was a regional finalists for the Student Academy Awards, and is currently in talks for distribution.
She has spent the last two years working as an International Sales Assistant at Vision Films & Voltage Pictures. More recently Andrea made a switch to concentrate her efforts on directing in new media. She had the opportunity to join the team at Vidopp.com, and hasn’t looked back! On top of blogging, she is producing and hosting a weekly show for Vidopp (http://www.youtube.com/vidopp).
